About me

Hi, my name is David Redish MA, LPCC.

I’m a Contemplative Psychotherapist based in Boulder, Colorado, with a passion for supporting individuals navigating life’s most tender, transformative, and often disorienting transitions.

My work is grounded in deep presence, relational attunement, and a reverence for the healing potential of both ordinary and non-ordinary states of consciousness.

I received my training in Contemplative Psychotherapy and Buddhist Psychology from Naropa University. I’ve had the privilege of practicing with the Kairos Wellness Collective and the Parent and Family Wellness Center.

My therapeutic focus includes supporting new parents—especially fathers—as they navigate the profound transition into parenthood. I also have specialized training in psychedelic and other peak-state integration, and I’m passionate about working with individuals experiencing OCD and Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors (BFRBs).

As a husband, father, and longtime meditator, I bring my full humanity into the therapeutic space.

My practice integrates mindfulness-based approaches, trauma-informed care, and heart-centered therapy. I specialize in supporting parents (especially new and expecting dads), artists, spiritual seekers, and those facing significant life changes, identity shifts, or experiences that defy language.

Whether you're navigating fertility challenges, loss, parenthood, burnout, or awakening, I offer a grounded and open space where your experience can unfold without judgment.

I believe therapy can be a sacred container—a place to return to the truth of who you are.
